Training

The Doctoral training program provides students with the opportunity to become highly qualified scientists in various areas of the modern biomedical sciences. The program includes lectures given by eminent scientists, tutoring, participation at seminars, and research activity.

Attendance of the courses on Biomedical Technologies, English Language, and Informatics is required. Attendance of other courses will be individually established by the teaching team for each student, based on his/her previous experience.

Student progression is established annually by the teaching team on the basis of a written report and an oral presentation on the ongoing research activity, which the student must present in English to all students of the Doctoral program and of other Doctoral or Masters programs in the biomedical area. Students are allowed to spend training periods abroad in other Universities or Research Centers. The stages are approved by the teaching team based on tutor proposal.
